By Bus – take Greyhound to Colfax. Please pre-arrange to be picked up at the Colfax Station
By Train – take Amtrak to Grass Valley. There will be an Amtrak Service Bus connecting from Roseville to Grass Valley. Please pre-arrange to be picked up at the Amtrak Station.

By Car
From the San Francisco/Bay Area (CA-99 to 70 Route)
This alternate route takes you through Marysville. It skips traffic before Roseville and Auburn.
Take 80 East towards Reno.
Exit to Highway I-5/CA-99 towards North to Redding.
Merge on CA-70 towards Yuba City/Marysville
In Marysville, stay on the right lane, follow signs towards Highway 20 (CA 20) Grass Valley.
Turn Right and continue on Highway 20 for approximately 33 miles.
Turn left on Pleasant Valley Rd .( First Traffic Stop Light) This road goes up through the mountain and then flattens just before Sanctuary Road.
Take a right on Sanctuary Road.
NOTE: If you reach the bridge and the river -- turn back immediately and turn left on the first dirt road on the left which is Sanctuary Road.
Traveling on 1-80 heading east from Sacramento (CA-49 through Auburn)
Take the Hwy. 49 Grass Valley/Placerville exit. It is the second Auburn exit.
Turn left and head north to Grass Valley (approximately 25 miles).
In Grass Valley, take the second off-ramp, the Empire State Mine/Hwy.20 Marysville exit.
Turn right at Pleasant Valley Rd. (2nd Light, approx 7.5 miles).
Turn right on Sanctuary Rd (approx 7.5 miles), JUST before the bridge over S. Fork Yuba River (the sign for the state park is at the end of Sanctuary Rd). The first driveway on your right is the Meditation Hall. The second driveway on your right is the residence.
From Los Angeles:
Take Interstate 5 North.
About 7 miles north of Sacramento, exit Highway 70/99 North towards Yuba City
Highways 70 and 99 split in 13 miles. Go straight to stay on Hwy 70 to Marysville
Take right on Hwy 20 towards Grass Valley
Turn left on Pleasant Valley Road.
Turn right on Sanctuary Road which is right before the South Fork Yuba River
Go to the driveway towards the barn.
From Oregon/Northwest states
Take Interstate 5 South
Exit Hwy 99 South (towards Chico) at Red Bluff
Take right at the junction of Hwy 99 and Hwy 149 to stay on Hwy 99 towards Yuba City
In Yuba City, take a left on Hwy 20 towards Marysville/Grass Valley
Continue on Hwy 20
Take a left at the stoplight at Pleasant Valley Road.
Take a sharp right on Sanctuary Road just before the South Fork Yuba River

Traveling from Sacramento International Airport
*From Airport Blvd. take 2nd
Exit towards Sacramento/Yuba City which is I-5 South.
*Take CA 99 towards Marysville
*FOLLOW ABOVE DIRECTIONS
*The airport is approx. 80 miles from Ananda Dhiira. The drive should take just
over 1.5 hrs (depending on traffic).
